Degree Structure

Academic Calendar
Higher education institutions in Japan follow the semester system for an academic year. Each academic calendar consists of two semesters, starting in April and ending in March of the following year. Proof of Japanese language proficiency by taking the Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) test and submitting the score card. Students who have previously taken the test and secured above 360 points are exempted from taking the test again. Similarly, candidates who have qualified the level one of the Japanese language proficiency exam conducted by Japan Educational Exchanges and Services are also exempted.
