Internship in Spain

Fill in the forms and documents of the Internships Application Package and send them to respective placement company by mail, along with the deposit payment confirmation.

To begin your internship program in Spain, you require at least an intermediate level of Spanish. During your placement process, you have to give an interview in Spanish.

To get an internship program in Spain, your studies and/or work experience should correlate to area of your interest.

The duration of internship program can be a minimum of two and a maximum of six months.

You must have finished your high school and should be at least 18 years of age.

You need to have an insurance coverage for any case of accident and illness.

You have to follow the host institution's norms, and also the terms and conditions.

You should be open to interact in a multicultural environment.

International students, who are staying over 90 days in Spain, will need to apply for a student visa. After the confirmation of your internship placement and payment of program fees, the placement company will issue a letter of confirmation of your program for the Spanish consulate. You need to submit this letter along with three completed and signed visa application forms, a valid passport, three recent passport color pictures with white background, proof of financial means, and travel insurance.

You can download the application form and procedure documents for the internship program from the respective sites of placement companies.

You have to submit these documents with your application: complete updated resume in Spanish (preferably with a passport size snap) giving your experience, language skills and hobbies, a cover letter in Spanish, showing details about type of your desired internship in Spain, and recent academic transcripts.

You need to attach two written testimonials/letters of recommendation from a professor, previous internship company or employer.

After receiving your application and all relevant documents, the placement company will carefully revise and evaluate them before confirming your participation in the internship program in Spain.

On confirmation of your internship, you will be given a detailed description of your internship program and your internship company. In case you are not satisfied with your placement, you will be offered an adequate alternative. Only after you accept the offered internship abroad in Spain, you will have to pay a deposit of 200 Eur.
