  • Does taking the SAT exam ensure my chances for financial aids also?
    If you score the top scores in the SAT examination, then you can get scholarship offers from the universities you have applied for admissions.
  • How many times SAT is held in a year?
    SAT 1 and SAT 2 are both held 6 times a year and you cannot take both the exams together. One can take three SAT 2 exams in a day. The SAT exams are offered on the first Saturdays of May, June, October, November, December and January.
  • What if I miss the deadline for registration part for the SAT exam?
    You can directly take the form to the test center with a penalty amount of 1725.39 INR. Do not miss to take the essential id-proofs and other vital documents.
  • How many times SAT exam can be taken?
    SAT exam can be taken as many times as you want. However, it is not advisable to do it, as the official body maintains a track of average of marks and frequent taking of exams can affect it.
  • How long the SAT score is valid?
    The SAT is valid for the corresponding 5 years.
  • When one can obtain their scores?
    After 3 weeks of the exam, your score would be displayed on net and will be mailed to you.
  • What if scores has to be cancelled?
    Ask your exam supervisor to give you the form for “Score Cancellation”. Fill the form correctly and submit it. If you have taken the test on Saturday, then it should be submitted till Wednesday.
  • Can candidates send the score to the universities themselves?
    Universities only accept scores from the College Board. Only original scores can be sent to the universities.
  • Do universities accept photocopies of the scores?
    Universities only accept original score cards, not photocopies.
  • Is SAT score needed at the time of applying to the universities?
    No, you can apply to the universities without the SAT score.
